Fort Myers Brewing Co. Wins Silver Medal at 2023 World Beer Cup

by | Jun 7, 2023

Fort Myers Brewing Co. is awarded silver medal in the 2023 World Beer Cup and these incredible accomplishments mark ten years of amazing success. It’s an impressive achievement to receive acknowledgement for their Chocolate Stout from a competition as prestigious as ‘Olympics of Beer’ and it solidifies the craft brewery team’s commitment and skill in brewing unique and flavorful beers.

Fort Myers Brewing Co is incredibly proud to be one of eight Florida breweries honoured with a medal in the 2023 World Beer Cup. For the second consecutive year, Lee County’s first craft brewery was awarded silver for their Chocolate Stout – an exquisite combination of rich chocolate, roasted barley, and espresso. Rob Whyte and Jen Whyte, co-owners of Fort Myers Brewing Co., were delighted that their popular stout was recognised in such a prestigious competition and it serves as testament to the brewing team’s passion for creating unique and flavourful craft brews.

Celebrating 10 Years of Success

The Whytes of Fort Myers Brewing have proven that third time is indeed a charm, having just earned their third World Beer Cup medal for the Somebody Else’s Dream chocolate beer. This exciting achievement comes on the heels of their 10th anniversary celebration in February, an event which perfectly encapsulated their remarkable decade of success. It’s no surprise that Jen and Rob Whyte feel like they’ve been doing this forever and yet it’s gone by so quickly. Congratulations to them on this incredible accomplishment!
