The diner’s choice of the “Carnitas + Cheese” sandwich ($16) was excellent. The seasoned pulled pork was served on a French baguette with black bean and French onion and enjoyed with a strong flavor of tomato puree. It was so delicious that they returned the next night to sample the pizza menu, ordering the “Holy Mole” ($20), which featured carnitas pork, chicken, mole sauce, cheddar, mozzarella, and cotija cheese, as well as chili Fritos, pickled onions, jalapeño, and a ranch drizzle.
